Cameron Woo, co-founder and creative director of The Bark magazine, recently contacted me about a new book he has compiled called Photobooth Dogs. “Missourians for the Protection of Dogs led the effort for the certified measure that proposed adopting new rules for dog-breeders, including capping the number of dogs that are used for breeding purposes, require resting periods between breeding and establish other requirements. The measure required that dog-breeders only be able to have 50 breeding dogs and required them to feed those animals daily and regularly.”
Recognizing Rescuers is a new series we are doing to honor all of the wonderful people who have dedicated their lives to helping animals. Running a rescue is not an easy job, as it entails working with many different people, animals in dire situations, and endless hours of fundraising, marketing, and management. Because of this sacrifice, Happy Tails Books believe these heroes deserve recognition.
Happy Tails Books is having our first ever Rescue of the Year competition! Through November 25th, you can vote for any rescue on our rescue partner list to help them win $500 in great raffle items. Blogpaws donated Bissell vacuums for the competition from their recent conference, and Happy Tails Books is donating stationary and books.
