Golden Retriever Freedom Rescue includes the most friendly, caring and energetic staff and volunteers that one can possibly imagine. Their veterinary care is truly outstanding. I have been tremendously happy with the lovely companions with which I have been "hooked up" as a forever Dad!

The Florida Dachshund Rescue got it right!! Sepi is the right dog for my family. Adopted at 3 years old, he's now 4, he was housebroken and has not had one accident since taking over my home. He's very protective and has more energy than we know what to do with. He loves to play fetch with Eric and squeaks his toys to everyones delight. We love Sepi and he has definitely filled a void left by the passing of Mr. Peabody. Thank you FLDR!

Golden Retriever Freedom Rescue is an amazing organization of volunteers who foster dogs in their own homes until they can find a suitable home for each animal. We adopted our dog, Scooter, from GRFR almost 2 years ago. We were so impressed by the organization's efforts to ensure that we were a suitable adoptive home, and by their efforts to match our family with the right dog. They also supported us during some stressful early months while Scooter adjusted to his new environment. He has been a wonderful addition to our family and we're grateful to GRFR for making it possible for Scooter and for us.

PLEASE VOTE FOR GOLDEN RETRIEVER FREEDOM RESCUE!!!

We are Animal Rescuers. We take in helpless, unwanted, homeless creatures without planning for selection. We are a quiet but determined army, and we are making a difference every day. Nothing is more rewarding than saving a life. No higher recognition than watching them thrive. There is no greater joy than seeing a puppy play, who only days ago, was too weak to eat. By the love of those who we have been privileged to rescue, we have been rescued. We know what unconditional love really is. We have seen it shining in the eyes of so many grateful little souls. We are animal rescuers. Our work is never done. Our homes are never quiet but our hearts are always full.

Golden Retriever Freedom Rescue is a nonprofit, charitable 501(c)(3) all volunteer rescue organization. Our mission is to rescue, foster, rehabilitate and adopt abused, neglected, and unwanted Golden Retrievers to permanent homes. All of our Goldens are currently in foster homes which enables GRFR to better assess the temperament of each Golden for matching to the appropriate permanent home and provides prospective owners the opportunity to visit the Golden in a non-kennel environment.

Carolina Care Bullies is a FANTASTIC organization. They fight to make a great name for Pit Bulls and are succeeding in it as well. I adopted a pit from them a few months ago, They are thorough with their home visits, and want only the best for their adopt-a-bulls. I would never think about rescuing another pit from anyone but them. They have become a HUGE part of my life, and by that I mean the Breed AND CCB!

My vote is for Rocky Mountain Great Dane Rescue. I have both fostered and adopted through them, and everyone is fantastic! Dogs are well tested prior to being made available for adoption, and foster homes provide stability and training for animals in transition. A thorough home study is conducted before potential adopters are eligible to view dogs' detailed bios. Way to go RMGDRI!

I would like to share my resuce experience with everyong. Valley of the Sun Dog rescue has been such a geat place to volunteer. She specializes in bully breeds, but rescues every breed of dog imaginable. I could not foster for her if I wasnt secure about the kind of homes these dogs are adopted to. I am completely comfortable with her proces to make sure dogs find their forever homes. She is not scared to take on challenges. Just recently a pitbull was hit by a car. This dog was in bad shape with a broken hip, pelvic bone and a leg that was so mangled that it had to be removed. He is doing remarkably well and will find a forever home when he has healed. We also just took in a dacshund puppy that had tested postive for parvo. He is in foster care and doing well, but most other rescues would not take this pup due to the medical needs. To me, Kathy at Valley of the Sun Dog rescue is not just another rescue she is a hero to many dogs!!!!

Me and my pooch Rolex are forever thankful to the Rocky Mountain Great Dane Rescue for getting Rolex out of the horrific situation he was living in, nursing him back to health over a very trying and costly 6 month period, and eventually pairing us with one another. Read Rolex's pre-adoption story at www.rmgreatdane.org/rolex.html. This all happened in 2005 and I have volunteered for the rescue ever since.

Based in Denver, RMGDRI has always covered Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, Utah, and Wyoming. And they have recently expanded to include Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Arizona and South Dakota. That's nearly one million square miles (989,802) folks!! Transports from Salt Lake City to Omaha or Billings to Tucson are not uncommon.

Needless to say, any help they can get is greatly appreciated. Please vote for the Rocky Mountain Great Dane Rescue.
