Our family adopted Charlie on March 23rd! After losing beloved dog Abbey to kidney failure, we visited the Alliston Humane Society. Charlie, and his story, captured our hearts.

He is a little bugger. We joke that he has hot paws. If he can fit it in his mouth, he will steal it. Charlie's favourite item is shoes.

As Emily states, Charlie has some wicked abandonment issues. He is slowly getting better as the days go by.

He is a ball of energy. He loves to run. Lucky for him, his new home is a 100 acre farm with lots of fenced in fields for him to explore. His favourite is going for a walk in the forest though. Here he can smell the animal tracks, play with sticks (more like branches!) and jump across the small stream.

With training Charlie's behaviour is improving. Charlie is a great dog. He is very friendly, and loves to curl up to someone for his mid morning nap. He's smart, and learns very quickly.

Charlie has finally found his permanent home.
