About this image: “This image of Diesel was taken for Minnesota Midwest Pug Rescue by Sarah Beth Photography. Diesel is a 10½-year-old healthy and handsome Pug with two tight tail curls! He was surrendered by a family who could no longer care for him along with Daisy, his breeding partner. Diesel was initially scheduled to be put down due to aggression issues. I fostered Diesel for almost a year. Whenever he met a prospective family, Diesel would misbehave in some adamant way, as if reminding me where he belonged! He finally prevailed and is now a beloved part of our family, along with Meiko, Jack, and Tori. He’s funniest when he rolls on his back and lets Tori gnaw on his neck. About Pugs:
- May have originated in Asia
- Possiblly related to the Pekingese but there are many theories
- Small and stocky with a pushed in face and long tail
- Usually 10-14 inches tall and 10-20 lbs.
