Pet Loss Poem
The grief you feel when you lose your best friend is real.
Losing our furry friends is a tragic but inevitable part of sharing our lives with them. Like many people in this situation, when author Brandy D. lost her two beloved Boston Terriers within three months of each other, she became desperate for answers to the questions “Why?” and “What am I supposed to learn from this?”
As she considered her tragedy, she realized that her dogs now have a new purpose—to help people through their grief when they experience pet loss.
Angels in Disguise, a pet loss poem that is appropriate for children and adults of all ages, celebrates the joy pets bring to our lives and describes loss in a way that Brandy hopes helps others to find healing, just it did for her.
