"Lost Souls: Found! Inspiring Stories About Cats" Coming Soon!

You may have known you could get a great cat or kitten from a shelter, but did you know that non-profit cat rescue organizations exist all over the country? There are many different types of cats in need of rescue for one reason or another. This includes purebred cats, mixed-breed cats, feral cats, owner surrender cats, kittens, and even exotic cats like lions and tigers. Many purebred cats end up in rescue because, just as purebred dogs suffer in puppy mills (doggie sweat shops where dogs are kept in small cages and forced to produce litter after litter), purebred cats suffer in kitten mills or are often bred by backyard breeders with unscrupulous behaviors.
