As you may know, we donate no less than 25% of net profits back to rescue, and our main mission is to use the written word to share the joy adopted pets bring to their new homes, thus encouraging adoption and helping to decrease the homeless pet population.

Two Thousand in Two-Weeks: T-Shirt Fundraiser!

Happy Tails Books wants to donate $2,000 to animal welfare organizations at the end of the month. In order to do so, they need to sell 400 t-shirts in the next two weeks.
These are no ordinary shirts. They’re part of the “Adopted. Who’s next?” t-shirt series that help people start conversations about pet adoption. Not only are the adorable images on the shirts of adopted pets, but the shirts are high-quality Bella (women’s cut) or Hanes Beefy-T (unisex cut) to give you a perfect fit. Additionally, shirts are available in many great breeds and have been designed to match the popular Lost Souls: FOUND! book series.

This fundraiser ends on April 30th. $5 from every shirt sold will be donated back to the rescue of your choice.* Shirts will ship in the beginning of May.

25 Great Pet Blogs… and Their Most Memorable Posts
Calling all pet bloggers! There are still a few slots left in our upcoming book about great pet blogs.
Blogs are a great source of information, entertainment, and fun, but finding the ones you really want to read can be a daunting task! Additionally, sorting through each blog to find the most interesting posts can be next to impossible. 25 Great Pet Blogs highlights a variety of blogs that are of interest to pet lovers – from blogs written from the cat’s perspective to hard-hitting blogs that keep you up to date on puppy mill advocacy news. This is not just a great book for any dog- or cat-lover, it’s a gateway to a lifetime of interesting articles and posts!
Participation Details:
- This opportunity is only open to the first 25 approved pet bloggers who apply. Acceptable blogs are those about pets that provide humor, information, or inspiration. No mean-spirited blogs will be accepted.
- Participating bloggers will be given a maximum of approx. 2,000 words of “real estate” to provide a short bio/description of your blog and to share a few of your favorite posts. You will also be allowed to share one photo/logo and whatever photos were included in the post you are sharing (they will be printed in black and white).
- Participants must agree to and sign the standard Happy Tails Books submission waiver at http://happytailsbooks.com/submit. To apply, simply fill out that waiver (select “25 Great Pet Blogs”), pasting in your bio/description and links to any blog posts you’d like us to include. DEADLINE: April 30th.
